Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

These terms cover two things: the Volora app you install on your phone, and this website. The first part is the app terms - the same text you can read inside the app. The second part, numbered separately, covers the website.

The Volora app

1. Who we are and agreeing to these terms

Volora is provided by Kozma E. Imre, a private individual based in Romania (postal address: [to be added before launch]; email: support@voloramoney.com), referred to here as "we" or "us". These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and us for the Volora app and the services that come with it, including sync, backup and support. You agree to them when you sign in or continue as a guest on the welcome screen, and if we later make a material change we will ask you again (see section 9). You must be at least 16 years old to use Volora. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Volora is a personal finance tool

Volora helps you organize wallets, transactions, budgets, goals, projects, insights, imports, and shared spaces. The app is provided for tracking and planning. It does not provide banking, accounting, tax, investment, lending, or financial advisory services.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Volora is free to use. Some features may require a paid subscription, and the price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. You cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings — we have no way to cancel a subscription on your behalf. Refunds are granted by Apple or Google under their own policies, so we cannot issue them ourselves, though we will help you where we can. A free trial is limited to one per device and per account. It needs no payment details and never turns into a paid subscription: when it ends, Premium features are locked again until you choose to subscribe. If we change the price, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before it takes effect. If you are in the EU or EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, though this right can end once you ask us to start providing it immediately. What you are buying is Premium as it works on the day you subscribe — the features shown on the purchase screen, in the state they are in that day. We may add to Premium, and we may change or remove parts of it; if we materially reduce what your subscription gives you, you can cancel through your store and ask Apple or Google for a refund of the unused part where the law gives you that right. Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, including your consumer rights and our obligation to provide the subscription you have paid for.

4. Your information and responsibilities

You are responsible for the data you add, import, edit, share, or delete in Volora. Review imported CSV files, wallet balances, currency settings, and shared-space permissions carefully before relying on them for decisions.

5. Account access and security

Keep your sign-in method, device, and backups secure. Features such as app lock and amount blur are designed to add protection, but no security feature replaces safe account and device practices.

6. Sync, backup, and third-party services

Volora may let you back up or restore data through services such as Google Drive. Those services are governed by their own terms and availability. You are responsible for maintaining access to those accounts and verifying that backups complete successfully.

7. Shared spaces

When you invite someone to a shared space, they may see or change financial information according to their role and permissions. Only invite people you trust, and review access if relationships or responsibilities change.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Volora, interfere with the service, attempt to access another person's data, upload malicious files, reverse engineer protected parts of the app, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law.

9. Changes to Volora and to these terms

We may improve, update or fix Volora, and we may change these terms, when there is a valid reason — for example a new or changed feature, a change in the law, a security need, or a change in a provider we rely on. A change never costs you anything extra. When a change is minor, such as clearer wording, we update the date shown with these terms. When a change is material — it affects your rights, adds an obligation for you, or reduces what the app or your subscription gives you — we will tell you in the app before it takes effect and ask you to agree to the new version. You can put that off: your data stays available to you either way. If a change affects you negatively, you can end this agreement free of charge within 30 days of being told, by deleting your account and cancelling any subscription through your store, and ask Apple or Google for a refund of the unused part where the law gives you that right. Features we have discussed, listed on a roadmap, or shown in a preview are plans rather than promises — your subscription covers what Premium does today, not what it may do later.

10. Disclaimers and limits

Volora is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, missed savings, financial decisions, data-entry mistakes, unavailable third-party services, or unsupported device conditions. No software is free of defects. We do not promise that Volora will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every calculation, conversion, or import will be correct, so please check anything you rely on for a financial decision. What we do commit to is that a paid subscription will work as described, and that we will fix serious problems within a reasonable time once you report them.

11. Data loss and the limit of our liability

Your data lives on your device and, for shared spaces, in your own Google Drive — nobody at Volora can reach it, which also means nobody at Volora can restore it for you. So keeping backups is yours to do, and it is worth opening one occasionally to confirm it completed. Data can still be lost through app defects, device failure, sync interruption, corruption, third-party outages, hacking, or accidental deletion, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for that loss or for what follows from it, including lost savings, business losses, or decisions made on data that turned out to be wrong or unavailable. Where we are liable to you despite the above, our total liability for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Volora in that period. Nothing in this section excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here takes away the statutory consumer rights you have where you live — including your right to a subscription that works as described.

12. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Volora at any time, and end this agreement by deleting your account in Settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or it will keep renewing. We may suspend or end your access to the parts of Volora that run on our servers, such as trials and subscriptions, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or if the law requires us to; unless the law or safety prevents it, we will first tell you why and give you a chance to put things right. If we decide to stop offering Volora, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and if that leaves you with a paid period you can no longer use, we will help you obtain a refund of the unused part. The records on your device and in your Google Drive stay yours in every case. Sections 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after this agreement ends.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU or EEA, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms takes it away. If something goes wrong, please write to support@voloramoney.com first — most problems can be solved that way, and we aim to reply within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can complain to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro), turn to an alternative dispute resolution body, or contact the consumer authority where you live. As a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, and we can bring a claim against you only there.

14. App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded Volora from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it. Apple is not responsible for Volora, its content or its support — that responsibility is ours. If you downloaded Volora from Google Play, Google Play's terms apply to the download. In both cases, payments, renewals and refunds are handled by the store under its own terms, as described in section 3.

15. Language and translations

These terms, the privacy policy, and the app's text were written in English. The other language versions were produced using machine translation and have not been reviewed by a professional translator, so wording may be inaccurate or unclear in places. Where a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version reflects what we mean. This does not take away any right you have under your local law to rely on the version in your own language, and if any translated wording is unclear or looks wrong, please tell us and we will correct it.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@voloramoney.com. Please include enough context for us to understand your request.
